A book

Hi blogheads

Today I´m going to talk about Isabel Allende, who is my favorite book writer. To make a brief introduction, he was born in Lima, Perú, on august 2, 1942, but at 3 years of age he returned to Chile with his mother and brothers, is recognized worldwide for his narrative work, wich has been translated into more than thirty languages and has sold millions os copies around the world, and in 2010 won The National Literature Prize. Isabel Allende´s relationship with professional writing began, in 1967 Isabel Allende decided to leave the country with her family to Venezuela, where she lived for thirteen years. There he began his career as a novelist with the publication of "The House of the Spirits" (1982).

They will ask now I get to know her, well it was thanks to the reading that they gave us at school, more than the school was my teacher of the subjects of lenguage and communication. I remember that one of the first books, I read was "The City of the Beasts", wich is an adventure and fantasy novel that narrates the trip to the Amazon os a young man of 15 years, with his grandmother as part of and expedition of a scientific journal, whose purpose was to document the existence os a strange creature known as "the beast". After this book, wich left me fascinated, I read "Inés of my soul" and "The city under the sea", wich the first tells about the story of Inés Suárez ande the second of Zarité, a Haitian slave.

I really like Isabel Allende´s book because of the way she tells each story, and because they are very interesting to read and manage to capture the attention os the reader. The books I read were intended for a younger audience, and this is one reason why I like this writer, because she is able to get her books read by any type of person, big or young.

And finally, the book I want to read, is "The House of Spirits", my mom read it and recommended it to me. not only her, more people. but I have´t had time, but I will try to read it as soon as possible.

A Friend

Hi blogheads!

Today I´m going to talk about one of my best friend. She´s called Pía (just like me haha). I met her when I was eigth or nine years old, she came from another school and we inmediately became friends. She has always been very funny and friendly, with a unique personality. When we were in school we were inseparable, we did everithing together, we even went to the same workshops, first we started with volleyball and then with dance, dance for her is her passion, and today she continues to dance, practice ballet and study English. I have always admired her for being so dedicated and not surrendering to achieve her dreams. When we left school we distanced a bit, because I went to study in Santiago and he stayed in San Felipe, but we have a great connection, we both know when one of the two is not well. We try to get together more often, but sometimes it doesn´t work out, but we both know that we will always b there when one needs the other. We have a great frindship, about 14 years, definitely our friendship is for life, and I hope, because friends like her aren´t so often.

In these pictures we were 12 years old.

A walk that I would like to do again.

Hi blogheads!

Today I´m going to talk about a walk that I would like to do again.
When I was 12 years old, I went south, specifically Osorno, I went with my grandparents and some aunts. We stayed in a cabin outside of the city. The place where the cabin was was beautiful, full of nature, green areas, tranquility and life. Around this cabin, lived more people, all very kind, because the day after we arrived, they approached and had prepared a cake in the form of welcoming us. In the days afters the arrival, we went to tour the place, going trough rivers, hills, fields, etc. We ended up exhausted in the day, we only got to sleep. I would go back to that place without hesitation unfortunately I have not had the opportunity to return, but when I have it I will be happy, since the people from the south are very friendly and welcoming, it is very simple, ande there is nothing calmer than to surround yourself with that nature, so clean and alive, of animals that are free in the fields. It´s a place I recommend visiting, especially if you want to have peace and tranquility.
